Michael Nicholls Principal Michael Nicholls, AIA, is a designer with a rare talent for tapping into emerging national trends to create environments that are inventive, immersive and successful.
As lead architect on many award-winning projects, Mr. Nicholls is skilled at leading teams of designers to achieve his clients’ visions for retail, restaurant and urban spaces. Recent projects include creating new restaurant and retail concepts for SeaWorld Adventure Parks, developing a new store environment for Whole Foods Markets and designing “The General Store,” a market and neighborhood gathering place for residents of The Point Lake and Golf Club, a Crescent Communities development.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1989. Michael is a member of numerous organizations and has been a guest speaker at Harvard Graduate School of Design and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
