Greg Long Principal During his 14 years of experience in educational facility design, Greg Long has been involved in the programming, design and construction of 20 campuses for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. A principal of Shook Kelley, he has been described as having a "sixth sense about building anthropology," a skill that is especially useful for school renovation projects.
Greg Long’s expertise in building codes and his familiarity with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction’s Facilities Guidelines translates into facilities that are delivered on time, under budget and with minimal change orders.
Mr. Long graduated with high honors in 1980 from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and a member of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International.
