In Support Of An Amazing Man And Cause

We are delighted to help with a phenomenal event on the 17th of December in support of an amazing man and cause. The founder of 100 Gardens, friend, mentor and former business partner of Terry Shook has been given a diagnosis of 21 weeks to live. Ron Morgan, is a sculptor, artist, visionary and an architect who has shaped Charlotte as we know it today. Ron is auctioning off his artwork to fund 100 Gardens, an aquaponic sustainable farming system used in local schools and in Haiti to teach and grow food. What began as a humanitarian effort to feed starving victims in the wake of the 2010 Haiti earthquake has evolved into a multi-faceted educational program focused on aquaponic technology as a sustainable solution for the future. The goal of this auction event is to get 100 of these gardens fully funded in the next 21 weeks. Please plan on attending if you can. Donations of any amount made out to "101 Gardens" are also being accepted at the Elder Gallery.

The auction will be held at the Elder Gallery on Thursday, December 17th from 6 to 9pm. 1520 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28203. For more information, please visit the Elder Gallery site here
